How to measure your finger correctly

For the most reliable result, follow these five simple steps.

1. Wear the tape like a real ring

Feed the end of the tape through the buckle and adjust it until it sits comfortably around your finger. It should feel neither loose nor uncomfortably tight.

2. Check that it passes over your knuckle

This is the most important step. The tape should pass over your knuckle with slight resistance, but without pain. Once in place, it should turn gently without sliding off by itself.

3. Measure at a normal temperature

Finger size changes naturally during the day. Do not measure immediately after exercise, a hot bath or sauna, when your hands are cold, or when your fingers are noticeably swollen. Evening at normal room temperature is usually a good time.

4. Measure more than once

Repeat the measurement two or three times during the day. If your result falls between two adjacent sizes, the larger size is usually the safer choice.

5. Consider the width of the ring

Wider rings, especially 8–10 mm bands, tend to fit more tightly than narrow rings. If you are between two sizes and plan to order a wide ring, we recommend choosing the larger size.
