What can be transferred to a ring
Every motif is different, but most custom rings begin with a few proven types. Some are visually present; others remain very discreet.
Fingerprints
A fingerprint is one of the most personal motifs. Each one is unique and creates a ring that cannot be repeated.

Handwriting
A short handwritten message often carries more value than any font.

Children's handprints and footprints

If the source image is clear enough, it can be turned into precise engraving.

We prepare the design before production
HoloRing is not an upload-and-engrave service that takes an image, reduces it and sends it straight to the laser.
Each motif is first prepared by hand for the specific ring. We decide what to keep, what to simplify, what to emphasize and how to place the design within the available surface.
We consider the ring width, curvature, detail size and chosen technology. A classic laser engraving is prepared differently from a motif intended for holographic nanostructuring.
Before production begins, we send you a graphic preview for approval. Only when you are happy with the design do we start making the ring.
That way, you know where the design is going and have room to adjust details before the final ring is made.
Outside motif or inside engraving?
Not every personal motif has to be visible at first glance. Some memories belong on the outside of the ring. Others should remain only for the wearer.
That is why we also offer free inside engraving, suitable for:
- a date,
- initials,
- short text,
- coordinates,
- a simple symbol.
Many customers combine a more visible outside motif with discreet engraving inside the ring.

No. Color is not the deciding factor. What matters is line, contrast and the amount of detail that should remain visible after the motif is reduced.
