A single ray of light is enough for the ring to come alive. A fascinating play of colors that never appears the same way twice.
No Dyes. No Tricks. Just Physics.
Nanostructures
We use no dyes or pigments. Instead, laser technology modifies the surface itself, creating a periodic structure on the scale of hundreds of nanometers — dimensions comparable to the wavelength of visible light. It is this structure that determines which colors reach your eye.
Light diffraction
The principle is similar as in the wings of the Morpho butterfly. Incoming white light is split by the nanostructure into its spectral components — a rainbow of colors. The colors shift with viewing angle and light source, which is why every moment looks different.
Extreme durability
The structure is part of the material itself. Thanks to tungsten — one of the hardest metals on Earth — the effect is permanent and will not wear off like conventional surface coatings.

This Is Science, Not Just Craft
At HoloRing, we don’t decorate—we engineer. We’ve taken tools from research labs and brought them into the world of jewelry—without compromising quality or beauty.
Tips & Care
Fingerprints
Oils from your skin can reduce the effect, just like on gemstones. A quick wipe with alcohol or soapy water restores the shine instantly.
Lighting
For the full color effect, aim for direct lighting—sunlight, LED spots, or a camera flash. Under overcast skies or in shadow, the engraving will appear dark silver or subtle grey.
